Hello everyone

Just got our bill and it has increased by £2 for our Broadband Size M (up to 2MG, but we rarely get more than 1.5 MG)

Was £18 per month Now £20

Also TV Size XL Was £22 Now £23

We are also now being charged £1.25 Paper Bill charge

Any advice please about these charges down..... :(

Many thanks in advance :A

Fiona

You could register for paperless building and save the £1.25 a month. You could also ring and threaten to cancel to see if you can be offered a deal.

I had the M phone and L broadband for £22 a month but I am leaving to go with BT and O2 broadband. The free install offer swung it for me.

My BT bill was the cheapest this quarter than it ever has been. Broadband was deducted quite a lot, and the phonecalls seemed to be reduced.

My bill including broadband is usually £100-120/quarter.

    This quarter I have £70 in credit:T:confused:

OP, have you always been paying £18 for 2mb BB?

Reason I ask is for a long time you could get it for £10 a month if you rung up and told them it was too expensive.

Anyway they are upgrading the 2mb BB to 10mb BB for "free" but putting the price up for £20.

You could try and ring up and tell them you want to cancel as its too expensive but when I did that they basically didn't give a flying horse crap and let me cancel.

Seems they don't care about losing customers anymore, but prefer to money grab....

I too left Virgin to go to O2 and couldn't be happier, would highly recommend you look into the same. Hit them where it hurts.

Cal them up immediately and tell them you want them to remove it all. I did so last year and got the 10Mb BB, TV L, and phone M for £30 pm (for life, or until I spot them doing a better deal :P) Only stipulation was a new 12mth contract.

I found them more than happy to deal with me. I just told them I could get cheaper BB elsewhere, and put in a freeview box. They were very quick to make the offer above.
