Is there a link to a list of all banks/building societies method of calculating how much they will lend?
I.e. based on multiples (and amounts), affordability etc
I know there is one somewhere!

Get a Mortgage magazine from WHsmiths.
They list them in there!
Although it tends not to list Banks & BS0 -
It's not that simple now, may lenders will have an "affordability" caluculation too, and add this to a credit score result etc....
I guess you ask as you want to maximise your borrowing, if so I would sugest you get a broker to do the donkey work, after all that's why they get procuration fees for.
If it is just a research, "for the hell of it" then I guess Mortgage magazines will have some details in their.0
