Hi hons. Was wondering if someone might be able to shed some light on this. Went in store, spent £55. Used a £5 till spit when you spend over £50. Just got home, checked the receipt and the £5 coupon has not been deducted. What do I do? Who am I supposed to contact? Won't be going in store again for another week or so. Eeeeek. Can anyone please advise? Loads of love x x x

it might be that the till spit excluded ink cartridges.

e-mail Tesco Customer Service and ask them.

  • Use this voucher instead, so long as you're ordering today - you'll get £10 off for a £50 spend, rather than £5!

There is a Student leaflet with the following vouchers- it sems the codes can be used on line
for electrical, mobile phones & accessories
    spend £300 or more- £30 off TDX-P7TR
    spend £200 or more- £20 off TDX-MNLX
    spend £100 or more- £10 off TDX-RTD4
    spend £50 or more- £5 off TRX-HRTD

I would suggest the following use
eg- spend £400-use the £5 code 8 times, the £10 code 4 times,
the £20 code 2 times, £30 code once.
In store I managed to use all codes once for 1 item plus an extra £5 & £10 code,SA relunctant to use anymore but thinking about it-it should work as above.

Possibly, but my £51 spend was on ink cartridges? Oh well, not to worry. Thought I would ask on here and see what the concensus was. Thanks for posting Kevin.

Was it the regular £5 off £50 that they have been printing out the last week or so?

I bought £54 of HP ink 10 days or so ago and only realised when I got home the £5 discount had not been deducted, as I still had one of these generic (£5 0ff £50 that also have the code TDX-FR43 for online use) till-spit coupons, I was able to bring it plus my cartridges and their receipt back to the store to get it fixed - Now I did have problems as they said they were not authorized to fix it (21.15 at night) and could I come back the following day before 19.00  to which I said dont worry just cancel and refund and then I'll buy them again.

They did this without any hassle and again the till-spit did not work so they just deducted the fiver manually. :)

It seems that the till spit sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.

I have a leaflet saying 500 extra clubcard points with the new collection at tesco.com/clothing. I cannot see what clothes you need to buy or if there is a limit you must spend. Anybody know?

    Hi guys

A friend is after an iPad 2 and was wondering where you can get the student vouchers from? - I tried using the £30 off online on my account and it gave an error.

    Any tips

    Cheers
