Sorry, but I confused Yorkshire Building Society with Yorkshire Bank.
This is the Bank:
Our primary objectives supporting this strategy continue to be:- building trust amongst our employees, customers and other key stakeholders
- making balanced decisions
- enhancing our reputation.

Borrow £35k to buy a new car and pay off some existing credit card debts
They won't be paying off any debts, just transferring them from an unsecured basis to a loan secured on their house - meaning if they can't keep up the repayments they could lose their home. Buying a new car and taking on more borrowing should not be a priority for them at their age - after all they will be dead soon.poppy100 -
