Won a Pupillo

Hi folks,

The competition wasn't through here but I have won a Pupillo.

I am on a mobile phone contract with '3' and on their WAP service a few months ago there was a competition to win a Pupillo. Being free, I entered it and I have just had a call to say I have won.

What is a Pupillo?

Basically it is a 3g web cam that you can call on your 3G mobile phone and can view whatever the webcam is viewing.

Sceptical:

I am a bit sceptical about this because when they rang me to say I had won, they asked for my address (although they knew my name)! The competition was on the 3 wap site so I think i'll be ok, but what me think twice is obviously, 3 have my address so why would they need it again (she actually typed it in as I gave it so not like she was just checking).

They didn't mention having to pay anything and didn't ask or get any payment details so think it should be ok, maybe i'm looking a gift horse in the mouth!

Doubt i'll ever use it so when I get it, I dare say it'll go on ebay. Unless someone out there has any great uses for one!

I'm delighted you explained what a Pupillo is ... (I had a strange vision of a teacher using a pupil as a pillow!!)

At that price it will be a nice little bonus if you sell on ebay too! :T :T

Thanks Queenie, the name does bring all kinds of visions into you head. The gf though I said we'd won a puppy :eek:

She has wanted one for ages so was really disapointed!

Think I will go ahead and sell on ebay but since there are no others on there and its the sort of thing no-one will go on there looking for, I doubt it will even get noticed!

Oh well, something for nowt!
