I wonder if Mr B is poking around DFW as a lurker - the forclosure of those loans must be a worry on the poor man.
Any ideas what his SOA would look like?
"Hello fellow DFWs.
Here is my SOA:
Income
Main salary: £6,131
OH salary: She won't tell me, not exactly anyway.
Monthly outgoings
Rent: negligable
Mortgage: ? (£2.1million outstanding)
Council tax: Do I have to pay that?
Bills: Not sure. They keep being voted down by Parliament.
Car: Yes, a big green one. Thank you.
Newspapers: Eurgh. Don't read them anymore.
School fees: Erm, I don't believe in private education. Honest.
Christmas, birthdays etc: £5
Holidays: What are you suggesting? That I should pay for these?
Debts
Loans: £16.5million @ 6.5% APR
Kays Catalogue: £27.95 @ 17.9%
I'm thinking of taking a Saturday shift at my local Tescos. Will this help?"

Hi Mr B and welcome to MSE!
I'm afraid Tescos my not cut it. My advice would be to invade a foreign country that has an abundance of fossil fuel (I hear it's highly sought after), occupy the country for... say... at least 3 years... under the guise that you're there to help and then take whatever resources you require to repay this debt. Make sure you've "appointed" an ally as head of state before you leave (so you can control this resource from overseas, just in case) and when you've got what you need... step down and let someone else pick up the pieces.
You didn't mention your mobile phone. Have you considered PAYG?
I'm afraid I can't offer much more advice but i'm sure someone will be along soon who can. The Chancellor of the Exchequer perhaps? (Now there's a reassuring thought

Dear all
Myself and Mrs B would like to thank you for your help so far.
I'm currently on a fixed contract, so the PAYG idea is sadly not an option for you.
On the suggestion of invading a foreign country - it's funny you should mention that actually. I tried handing one particular oil-rich state a default notice and sent the boys around to chase it up, but the !!!!!!s disputed the facts, refused to acknowledge the debt, and I've found myself in a bit of a pickle over that one. Not to mention a few quid short as well.
I was thinking about selling off some assets on eBay, buy my OH says I've already sold most of our domestic stuff down the river.
Gordon says I should seek a better paid job, but then he's not much of an accountant if truth be told.
What am I to do?
