Looking for the cheapest place to buy Folic Acid. Any info greatly appreciated.

I'm not pregnant yet. I'll be 'trying' from next month so wanted to start taking some in advance as recommended.

Don't forget that your OMEGA 3 and Vitamin d3 status during pregnancy and lactation will have a major lifetime impact on the health prospects of your child. So plenty of sunbatheing once pregnant (any excuse do some before as well) and eat plenty of oily fish such as sardines in tomato sauce.

I reckon that Ted has found a great deal. I had a look and £3.95 for 360 tabs is a very good price.

I wandered round high street shops and Holland & Barrett were the cheapest when I bought mine. I can't remember what I paid and I didn't look on the net though.

Watch out for some tablets. They look cheaper, but when you read the side, you need to take 2 or 3 a day, so they are not so cheap after all!

I used to get folic acid from Savers for 99p for 3 months worth (90 tabs) More recently though I get it from Tesco. I can't remember exact price but *think* its about £1.80 for 6 months worth (180 tabs). I know they were less than £2 definately.
