Last night I updated my Windows 98 to XP Professional, it all worked fine until I tried to connect to the Internet and XP wouldn't recognise my modem, so I unistalled it and am back on 98 again. The info I have on my modem is V90, 56000bps, Intel ham, data/fax/voice modem. I realise I need a driver but after searching the net, there seems so many and I really don't know which one to choose, anybody got any ideas please?

Thanks for the replies, I have just done the compatibilty test on the XP disc and the modem showed up as incompatible. I have downloaded a couple of drivers from Poppycats lists and will try an install again later.0
