Great post - thanks!!!!
Waterhouse - think you just turn up at the specified places where there are screens relaying the opera in the street/open air 'on street' and you just join the crowd to view.
Have been to a couple of similar things - just turn up in good time to be at front & get a proper view!0 -
wow this is great. Thanks so much I definitely will be there

Pesky culture vulture on the loose again
Anyway bumpty bump time for another free Opera.
Don't know what it was like at the other venues but Trafalgar Square was packed last time so get there early 'coz if you're late you will have your view slightly obscured by a fountain.
Plus they were giving away little inflatable cushions to sit on so it was a double freebie . Admittedly I spent about 15 min trying to inflate one of the cushions before deciding it had a hole in... just as well they tend to give you two.0
