Hi,
My friend is getting married in November and she was wondering if anyone could recommend a bridal salon!

She doesn't want to spend a fortune on a dress for the one day so she was wondering if anyone could recommend somewhere can sells budget dresses or somewhere there is a good sale on?

Thanks in Advance!

  • I think Debenhams have a wedding section. I also seen a beautiful dress in a magazine - it was from Monsoon.

M&S and BHS also have bridal ranges at fairly reasonable prices.

Check out the special occasions forum, there is a thread there about buying wedding dresses off a Chinese supplier on Ebay.

Also check out Ebay as there are usually lots on there for really low prices.

I saw this site advertised in a bridal magazine. The clearance page has quite a few wedding dresses in it that look wonderful (especially if she is looking for something different).

The clearance bhs shop, near the normal bhs shop where mother care used to be (I think) normally has sale wedding dresses and bridemaid ones. Also flower girl/page boy outfits.

Thanks for all your replies, she wants a traditional style dress, and won't buy a dress without trying it on. We are going to look next Saturday for her dress and the bridesmaid dresses so will try Debenhams and BHS.

There is someone on Ebay now selling shop sample stock for £50 a dress, some of them are gorgeous, might be worth having a look

TK maxx is also always worth a look. Or she could consider getting something made if she knows what she wants.

Bridal salons always cost a fortune btw unless you're lucky enough to find a sale on!
