I was so impressed by the Romulan (sp?) ship-thought it was dead imaginative, and the drill thing.

I need some advice, My husband and I wantto go to Las Vegas in October this year we have booked the time of work and so far got a quote for the holiday of £2900 for 2 people for 2 weeks.

However looking at our current situation I am not sure if we should go.

We are saving to a a house for when he leaves the Army in 15 years. We are able to save £600 per month at the moment and have £12,000 in saving so far.

We are thinking about having a childern in the next 3 -5 years and I would not be able to carry on working.

He has a loan which is coming down, I want over pay the loan and we can do this if we are careful by Dec this year as other loans and CC are paid off.

If we go all the saving from now until then would be eaten up by the holiday, should we forgot the holiday and think about buying a house. Or book and go.

    Any thoughts would be helpful.
