Nice economics experiment - ask students how much they would pay for a basic mug and the answer is very little, give them the mug and ask them what they would sell it for and suddenly it is worth a lot more - sound familiar?I think....0

If I was to offer my car for sale, you might offer me £100. I might think it is worth £10,000.
If you offer whatever my bottom line is, or more, we might do a deal.
If you don't there is no harm done. I'll keep my car and you can walk.

The bbc thing says in my area prices rose 15% for the year after sales of only 70 houses...cant be right? It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
