Long, Deep Shelves

Hi, I need some long deep shelves to put onmy wall so i can store my uni files/books, they need to be quite deep because most of my files are the ig lever arch type. any cheap as possible would be good too any ideas?

IKEA is probably your best bet, I would imagine. Something like this (I've had my eyes on this for ages and was admiring it in a friend's house only today....)

What about some plywood or chipboard and brackets bought from a harware store. If you're making a long shelf you need to put an extra bracket in the middle to stop it sagging.
You might even be able to get the shelving material second hand if your lucky. It's just a plank of wood and you can cut it down from something else. Technically robbing out of skips is illegal but morally I reckon it's OK.0 -
