I feel like the cat that got the cream today.
My mobile phone bills used to be well over £100 a month - if they came in at less I considered it a success. I got sick of it, so ditched Orange (great move) and changed to O2. I got a new phone. Masses of free texts(never had them before) and loads more free minutes (think it's triple what I used to get) and the bill is half the price!!! Just checked by first 02 bill and haven't gone beyond my minutes - Hurray!!!!! Bill: £40
Also had some good news in my current account. closed my old one and opened a new one - Had a letter to say old one will close and it still has £140 in credit - hurray!!!!! Will use it to pay off some money I owe to my dad for some DIY he did for me.
A colleague has just paid me £14 I had forgotten she owed me - that's going straight into my treat pot! Got three pound left until end of week and managed to put 80p in 20 savers pot too!

sorry to sound like I'm rambling on - I just find that if I force myself to think positive about scrimping then I feel better about the whole thing!0
