Help wanted - Old PC crashed and now won't boot up

I've got an old Tiny PC which has crashed and won't boot up. The problem is I never  backed up any of the hard drive... and it's got some really important photo's on it.

What happens when I turn it on is both the power and the drive lights come on but rather than the drive light going on and off as it's booting up it stays on constantly. Is there anything I can do

In short what you can do is create a boot disk and see if you can read the disk (to see if there is a physical problem) secondly you can "slave" your drive in another machine and copy the files off.

Not wanting to sound condescending but you will need a bit of technical knowledge to implement either of these.

Sir Winston Churchill: "Nancy, if I were your husband I'd drink it."
