You can open a Cashminder as you leave the court holes. just let them know but you should be fine.:cheesy: K2nga :cheesy:

Open it any time you like, you just phone them and go through the application again and that's it..
I opened another one to separate my finances out a bit, one account for direct debits and one for other spending. Have the YBS account for long term saving for MOT, Christmas Birthdays etc
You can apply for the YBS account online if you want oneBSC No: 2450 -
thats what i want to do . was doing prior to bk with halifax and works very well easy to budget with conjunction of excel0

You'll struggle with a saving account though.....at least till discharge
stick with the 2 co-op accounts & you'll be fineWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
I disagree Phil I got a Yorkshire Building Society Internet saver with Link card Post BR as have others on this forum without problems:) Of course I also have my Co-Op account but Yorkshire is useful for saving for Xmas/Birthday/Holiday and Car Expenses which were allowed on my SOA so I do not think OR would question as it will always be within the £100's not £1000's.....Waiting for defaults to start self managed DMP0

Am i right in thinking that the YBS account is useless unless you are near a branch?:cheesy: K2nga :cheesy:

No not at all K2nga, I am nowhere near a branch I live in London:) Once you get a link card you will have no problems. I pay money in with my Co-Op visa electron card on line and also have a Standing Order set up to pay £20 in every month:) I think it's great...Waiting for defaults to start self managed DMP0

No, you can operate it online and you get a cash card, allowing you to withdraw from any LINK machine. I've been impressed so far. I am curious, however, how people have obtained two cashminder accounts with the Co-op as when I tried, I was told that it wasn't possible.0
