I wanna Blackberry

Hi all
Decided I need a new phone and I fancy a blackberry. Only problem is I have no idea which one to get, I've talked to a few people and been recommended a Bold, a Storm and a Curve. I googled all three and can't make my mind up.
Anyone here have one? Which one? Do you like it? Would you get the same one again if you could go back?
The most appealing thing for me is the easy to use internet, I like the idea of being able to sort out mail and other stuff whilst travelling so I have less to do when I get home.. the (unlimited) internet is a must. I also reallylike the BB chat feature.
I also want one that's not too expensive, don't really mind which provider it's with and it should also have a bit of memory and a mp3 player along with all the basic stuff. Do any of them have the capability to play videos/ avi files?
Any help appreciated.. TIA

I use BB Bold's for work, previously had the pearl and I must say I love the Bold but I've not had any experience of other options to compare it against. Some iPhones have bigger screens to make internet viewing easier.
Like I said mine is for work and so the ease of keeping up with work mail and responding whilst away from desktop is an excellent feature, I don't tend to use it much for the internet, a quick look at the weather forecast (waste of time really best bet to take a look outside) but find most sites that are mobile friendly are quite viewable.
I don't know what make of iPhone this guy that visited had but it was all touch screen and seemed much easier for the internet if that's a big issue for you then the Bold's screen might not be big enough.
I've purchased a Micro SD 8mb chip for mine to store all my podcasts and videos. I think the sound and picture quality is great, and I don’t know what I’d do without my Bold now, but with technology changing as quickly as it does I might not be stating that in six months time.
Forgot to add that I love the feature of being able to send a pin to other BB devices for free, I can text for England so it's sweet to be able to ramble on and on without a character limit or cost.
A good site to keep for reference for any glitches is this one

Put in your error and it should come up with the solution page for the fault.0 -
Hi Revenge of the Red Devil
I'm also in the predicament as yourself – two of my friends have BB’s one the Bold and the other the Storm, I’ve had a go on both phones and personally get on better with the Storm (probably because I’ve got a LG Viewty at the mo) although the touch screen click takes a bit of getting used to- it also looks the coolest out of the Blackberry range - The Bold is a good phone but I’d say it’s for more commercial use.
I’ve found a couple of reviews on The Register (Tried to link to them but it wouldn't let me submit the post with them in) who are pretty savvy on most stuff and the Storm bombs out with only 50% score, the one for the Bold scores a whopping 90%
Glad that I could clear things up then (as clear as mud)
Can any Phone master help out? I’m getting to the end of my contract with T-mobile and don’t want to get locket into a 18mth contract with a dud!!0 -

Here's a link to a discussion thread on choice of bold, curve or iPhone, iPhone seems to be the firm users choice

i have been a big fan of BB's for years, and had the older odels with the click wheel and currently on the Bold now. I love it, i would say the size would put some off people off but any smaller and the browsing the net and emails is great. Quick interface and the actual buttons in my opinion are better than touch screen. Dont know what else to say oher than better to get yourself down a phone shop and have a play around with the them, the curve is thinner and smaller, oh and the Bold has 3g which in another plus point for me.Listen to what people say, but watch what people what people do!!0

i have a bold after havin an iphone and personaly love it, i thought id miss not having the touchscreen but the little roller ball works really well and i love having the full proper keyboard which despite the small size of the keys i find them perfect! camera average and nothing compared to some of the latest nokias etc but thats why i have the dslr!0

im using nokias e71 in a good three contract...never used blackberry but if u want to stay away from touchscreens, e71 might be a good choice (except for its camera)...and yea, thats why i have a dslr too

Avoid the new Curve like the plague - majority have loose keyboards and back plates.
After some discussion I got TMobile to swap me to the Bold - admittedly it is heavier and has a not-so-good camera but is far more robust, i.e. solid back-plate, keyboard is totally solid etc.0 -
I have the curve for work, what a pile of poo it is to.
Its some years behind a half decent windows based mobile in terms of its capability

Took the plunge and got the Bleckberry Blod and must say I'm glad I did its brilliant, it has a bright, crisp screen - didn't know how I'd get on with the QWERTY keyboards at first but now I'm used to it I find it one of the most comfortable keyboards I've used on a mobile device.
Battery life is outstanding for a 3G device — managed to get a full day of heavy use out of it no problem.
thanks for the comments guys think I'd have made a boob with the storm
Cool :T0
