Currently I am working for NHS. I have read somewhere that NHS do give loan upto £5K either to buy season ticket or as a personal loan. I called my HR and one of them never heard about this loan and other one said only our trust doesn't give this loan. In four weeks time, I am going to start a different trust. at this stage I am not sure if NHS give personal loan or not.
Is anyone heard about this?

The first place to start must surely be to ask the new trust you are going to?

I've never heard of them lending for anything other than travel cards (although their union welfare department might be able to help in a crisis), but in common with most public services bodies, they do lend workers the money, (interest free and over 10 months), to buy season tickets.

This trust seems pretty general in what it does for staff:

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)
