Hi guys.

I used to be on these forums quite a bit, during my struggle to get debt free, but life took over and I stopped coming on for a while.. then forgot my login details, duuh lol.

So now Im back, but this time to help me with my aim to STAY debt free!

I want to use this blog to keep track of what Im spending each day, as I find knowing I have to write it down stops me overspending and helps me be in control of my daily spending. I will also add my to-do list, and altho maybe a bit off-topic I want to keep track of my healthy living so may as well use this blog for that too :)

Good Luck to everyone aiming to become or STAYING debt-free!!

    MONDAY

Well, spent way too much over weekend, well more than Id budgeted for anyway.. its amazing how things go tits up when you're not keeping a to-do list and spending diary lol. Back to the real world today..

This week, I need to spend as less as poss, as going Torquay for a messy weekend with the girls this weekend n need all the spending money I can possibly get my hands on. So, low spend week is the mission. And on a week where DS is off school is gonna prove hard. Need to find lots of free / cheap things to do.. This prob means no gym n sunbed this week, so should try to do workout DVD a couple of times this week to make up for it :) and fake tan @ home rather than pay out for sun shower.

Ate rubbish over the weekend.. pizza n chips, chocolate n sweets while watching films, Chinese last night, n devoured half a tub of Pringles yesterday afternoon during a mood. lol. So, back on my best behaviour me thinks!! :)

    TO-DO LIST
*Check emails / social networking sites
*Do any surveys that come thru
    *Check online banking
    *Check for any decent freebies
*Do @ least 3 comps & Glamour daily comp
    *If time, some STP
*Buy body scrub using advantage points
*Amuse DS as much as possible while off school, for as cheap as possible! :)
    *Washing on 40
    *General daily housework
*Do own nails rather than pay for them!
*Fake tan @ home rather than pay out for sun shower
    *Iron washing from the weekend
    *Meals @ home
    *Pay bills
    *Low Spend Day

Feel such a pants mother that I cant do much with DS this week while hes off school as I need to save as much as poss for my weekend away with the girls this weekend. :(. Doing my best to keep him amused and do lots of fun, free/cheap things with him tho. To be fair, this weekend is a complete one off, whereas theyll be lots of opportunities to splash out on him after this weekend. Pleeeease agree n make me feel better lol.

Hasn't he got any school friends / friends nearby / families kids etc who could come over for a playdate? (not sure how old he is?). They might even repay the favour and invite your lad round to theirs one day giving you a nice free day?

Taking him out today tho.. to the indoor play centre.. and to the park to feed the ducks, eat ice cream and play frisbee if the weather holds off :)
