Teachers AVC and redundancy

squirdle
I have been paying 3% of my salary into the Prudential Teachers AVC scheme since it started (about 15 years ago?). Now, at age 52 and after 31 years service (the last 24 in the same establishment), I am to be made redundant (academies, doncha just love'em?), and do not intend to return to any full time permanent teaching post. Does anybody know what I am I entitled to do now with my AVC 'pot'? Anything? I know that I am not eligible to take my teachers' pension until I am 55, but I believe that I may be entitled to access my AVC now.
