    I've been Money Tipped!

Too much water is as dngerous as too little. I used to drink a lot more than I do now, and due to medical advice cut down. For me somewhere between 2- 2.5 litres feels about right to me, I now become concerned if I notice in a sedentry dy I am heading over 3 litres. If I'm struggling to keep water intake up I make sure I'm having a glass every hour on the hour, but rarely do I have to think about it really.

I've seen the ad and tbh it makes me laugh... I really don't believe how great they suddenly feel :rotfl:... presumably these desirable effects can't be obtained with any other water? :D

    I read this
    http://calorielab.com/news/2006/05/28/8-glasses-of-water-a-diet-urban-legend/
around about the time that woman died because she drank too much water.

So put me down as a sceptic, although I don't doubt I should probably drink more!

I don't like drinking water that much. Thats why I find it hard. I don't sit at a desk all day and chasing round after 2 young kids I am lucky if I get to finish a cup of tea never mind any other drink.
As for plain tap water? urgh!!! Its minging.......
I do need to increase my intake but am dreading the constant peeing......

I'm like you with tap water - blee:eek:

And the peeing does calm down - I'm not peeing nearly as much as I was.

Look for offers in the supermarkets on bottled water as they all seem to do them :)

I watched a show on TV a while back and they looked at the claims about drinking lots of water. They used a set of identical twins and got them to continue with their normal lifestyle (which was pretty healthy) except with 1 twin she had to drink more water. After a period of time they did a load of blood tests etc. and found that the extra water had made not the slightest bit of difference other than she was constantly going to the loo!

There's no doubt that many people don't drink enough water but I think this is just a good marketing exercise by Volvic. It's a bit like the Special K challenge really.
