    On past form they should close sometime late next week and reopen for their sale on the 26th December.

    I was in Ikea Edinburgh today and it was mainly all Christmas decorations that are now half price. The had some bed linen, curtains etc that are reduced but mainly stuff that wouldn't have sold well at full price.

    I got an invite to a preview evening today saying that the 'preview' was on 23rd December so I reckon the sale must start on 24th or 26th :-/

    I popped in to Ikea today to pick up some christmas decorations, some great bargains, for instance packs of baubles are 20p!. Anyway there were big signs everywhere saying Sale starts 26th December.

    You mean IKEA is not open on the 25th! :o I must go to IKEA now and start stockpiling funiture incase I run out. ;D

    Add in paper says that the sale started at 9am today at IKEA Bristol.

    the 2004 catalogue says it starts on dec 27th, so unless they have changed since going to print that is the date it is supposed to start on....hope that helps!
