Hi all
I attempted to make cupcakes from a spone recipe today and ended up with lovely but burnt on the top shallow messes!!
any ideas what I can do rather than throw them away-they are too shallow to cut the tops off and ice-is there such a thing as a crumb cake or something made from leftover cake? or did I imagine that?!
thanks in advance

Take the tops off and call them biscuits. Most children will happily eat them, in my experience!Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0

I would just stash them and eat them secretly, make some more

They would be fine in a trifle. Just cut off the burnt bits.
