I think I'm in trouble?!!

I have been claiming tax credit since last year. My partner was at the time not working but did start doing a day here and a day there starting November 2008. But what with My Mum being termanarlly ill and now she has died we truly forgot to contact the tax office to say that our circumstances have changed. It was not until I received a Tax credits declaration that I realised what we have not done. He is working as a supply teacher and is now earning around £200-£300 a week. Will this affect my Child tax credits? I am not earning and am claiming Incapacity Benifits due to a bad back after the birth.
Can anyone help me on this one?

It may not be that bad because you may also have been entitled to working tax credits that it appears you didn't claim. Have you updated your circumstances yet?0

No, I have not updated it yet. Going to phone them tomorrow and tel them. What is working atx credit and how much would my partner have to earn to be able to claim it?
Thanks for your help.0 -

For working tax your husband must work over 30 hours per week there is a cut off limit but from your other post i doubt your anywhere near it, you need to apply because every day you don't your loosing money and they can only back date a claim for three months.Hit the snitch button!member #1 of the official warning clique.:j:D
