Tied into Tracker but want to move...

Hi, I'm a recent lurker but thought I would bite the bullet and ask a question here to the mortgage experts...

We're currently tied in to a Tracker mortgage with the Nationwide until early 2010, however we're currently looking to move house and buy a bigger property.

Obviously we want to avoid having to pay the redemption fees for leaving the tracker early, so would it be likely that the Nationwide would grant us another mortgage on their SVR for the difference between our current mortgage and the mortgage we would need to buy the new house?

As an aside we have been overpaying our current mortgage by £150 each month for at least the last 3-4 years, so could this make it more likely that we would be allowed to do this?

The idea is that once the Tracker period had finished next year we would then consolidate the two mortgages into one product.

Does any of this make sense or seem likely? Any advice or information would be gratefully received...

Thanks!
