My daughter is hiring a sunbed for me, (its a mothers day gift) can anyone advise me the best creams or lotions I shoud use. I used a sunbed years ago and didnt use any creams but as Im a little older I want to use some protection. Thanks

    Whoever you get the sunbed from will probably be able to supply you with sun cream. failing that you can go to your nearest tanning studio and they will sort you out.

    I've used Australian Gold which they sell in sunbed salons. It's cheaper to buy it on ebay though.

    Just to note that they don't offer protection as such but help to increase the melanin in your skin to make the sunbed session more efficient and hopefully you will get a tan in less sessions. They also help to keep your skin more hydrated as sunbeds can be quite drying.

    When I've hired sunbeds in the past I haven't found them as good as the ones in salons so you end up using them more (not as good for you). Could you not book a group of sessions at a salon instead?
