Saturday 30 May is the Ramblers Get Walking Day

138 short walks are being organised across England, Scotland and Wales by local Rambler groups, most on the Saturday but some on the Sunday too.

All walks are short (2-5 miles), fairly easy terrain and open to everyone.

All walks are led by friendly, experienced Walks Leaders, who will be waiting for you at the meeting point.

Check if there is a walk near you on the Walk Finder.

Have fun :)

Thanks for this - still time for those who enjoy the out doors or want to get fit to explore - thanks for posting!
  • In the UK? Looks like it's only available in Great Britain, not Northern Ireland?

A pity that - I'll just have to do one of my usual walks!

    Couldn't see it myself.

Only saw free walks and know that some groups do charge. So thanks for freebie - think you may have misread info. James - click on first link and it will be up free walks - good luck!
