I had the most wonderful recipe in a magazine from this book the other week & I really need it again (I am going to buy the book when finances allow).
Anyway I'm not sure of the name of the recipe, it involved digestive biscuits, dried fruit, chocolate & butter & was a refrigerator cake type of thing.
The recipe would be appreciated or anything similar.
Many thanks, Nickinoo

This is my Nans chocolate fridge cake recipe,
3oz softened butter,
1oz sugar,
4 tbsp cocoa,
2 tbsp single cream,
2oz glace cherries (or similar fruit)
12 digestive biscuits.
Break the biscuits into bite size or slightly smaller chunks, mix in all the other ingredients and pour into a tin. place into the fridge for about an hour, until set. Cut and serve.0 -

Do remember you can get books from your library for FREE!
If they don't have the book you want, for a small fee they will order it if you fill out a request form.
Our libraries are one of the few freebies we have these days so we really should use them more.
I borrow all kinds of books and either take notes of the bits I want or use my printer/copier/scanner to copy the pages that I might need if it's more than just a note.
It's also a cheap resource for borrowing DVD's, videos, music CD's and also free internet access.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
