'alpen' alternative please?

Hi there does anyone do an 'own brand' version of alpen? Or does anyone know a home-made muesli combo thats similar? Other half ate about half a box this morning so we'll have to down-shift brands if that carries on ;)

    Hello

I really like the museli they sell in Lidl!
I'm not sure if it's as good as Alpen, but out of all of the non-branded museli it's my favourite! And its cheap.

I'd be interested to know too, I've tried a few others but keep coming back to Alpen, which is of course much more expensive, but I haven't found anything else I'm really happy with.

Sainos do a swiss-style museli which is very similar to Alpen.

I like Tesco's own, the one in the large blue bag. I think it's low salt etc.

The Lidl stuff is brilliant, far better than Alpen. And it's currently on offer, reduced from £1.59 for 750g to £1.00 per bag. So good time to try it.

There is a fruit version, which is 45% fruit, and a fruit and nut version at 50% fruit and nuts.

I can second this. I bought their Luxury 50% Fruit & Nut one for the first time this week and am very impressed. I think it was only £1.

My son swears Morrisons own label is better than Alpen and coming from him thats something, he normally only eats the so called premium brand foods

My DH swears by the Lidl Luxury stuff (he's fussy usually) and it's only £1 for a bag at the mo

Our family is split some love Aldi boxed luxury one other love Lidl luxury (in a foil bag). These are both totally different but equally as nice, I've not tried Alpen so can't advise which one is most like it or even which is more "Swiss Style".
