Go Bananas at Chessington this May Half Term and get in FREE! 25th - 29th May

Gorilla's can go bananas at Chessington World of Adventures & Zoo as the park supports the 2009 Year of the Gorilla, which is a world wide appeal promoted by WAZA (World Association of Zoo's and Aquaria).

There will be a variety of events going on through May half term, and you can even get free entrance if you turn up dressed as a gorilla*!

*Free entry with gorilla suit is only valid Monday 25 May – Friday 29 May. Offer entitles one individual wearing a full gorilla suit one free entry to the park. Gorilla suits must NOT be worn in Trail of the Kings.

Ha, ha - good discovery but what if you already look like a gorilla? (Robbie could get in - only joking).

Or does it count if you visit with someone who looks like an old chimpanzee? Mouth zipped - Ha, ha!

As no holidays for some years (due to finanaces etc)actually went to the Zoo (for a treat) last B.H.

Was really great day and if you're up for it, would reccomend going for freebie.

We had a really, really good day - far better than expected & the gorillas themselves were great! - one of them (looked like the oldest) shambled around with a plastic bottle and poured black currant/water into it from other bottles and raised his bottle to the audience before drinking, then when it started to drizzle they walked off, picked up bits of cloth and draped it round their shoulders and looked for sympathy to us visitors. When I blew one a kiss and waved he came forward and clapped.

Take advantage of this freebie if you can/dare!!! - it will be a really good day!!!!
