I have a basic Karcher pressure washer that has developed a leak. Karcher say they can sell me the part if can undo the starry shaped screws and work out which bit is wrong. I think I might have to give in and buy a new one - Screwfix is doing a Wolf one (100 bar 1500w motor) for £30 incl delivery. Does anyone know of better deals? Will my karcher lances work with the Wolf one? Any advice appreciated - I don't want to buy one that is rubbish.

I would at least buy a set of the torx bits (commonly used on cars etc.) so that you can investigate which part is actually required. That is one advantage of a good brand like Karcher compared to most of the others which you can't get the parts for! I don't think that Karcher lances, hoses etc. will fit the other brands. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

Found this one on Homebase for £24.

I would imagine they will have a 10% day at Easter so you could save another£2.40.
Don't know if it is a good model, but it is cheap as chips!

Thanks everyone; I have got a torx bit now so I'll have a quick attempt and finding out what is wrong and if it is going to be expensive get a new one.
All the best
