I spoke to m/a today and he is going to change it to joint, i am going to drop of the marriage cert on way to honeymoon to speed things up.

alanco15 - I don't see why you are complicating the application process dropping your marriage certificate off on your way? Whether married or single, you apply in the names that you have ID for. Once your mortgage is up and running phone the lender up and ask what you need to do to update your wife's name (it might be to pop into a branch with her updated passport and marriage certificate, my lender just did it over the phone on trust). The lender only cares that you apply in her correct name at the time of application, and that you have ID and address proofs in that name to verify the identity.0
