Ok, if I have a bluetooth dongle connect to my desktop which connects via broadband to the net and another bluetooth dongle connected to my laptop (which doesn't have any connection to the net), will I be able to access the net from my desktop through the laptop? (hope that makes sense)
I haven't got one!

Yes. Qualified as long as both machines support bluetooth networking and you have ICS setup on on the desktop. Wouldn't it be better to buy a wireless router?- = I also recognise the Robins and beep for them = -0

What's wrong with simply using a cable, then you would not be limited by the slow Bluetooth data rate. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
