phone call from LX direct!

I just had a phone call from LX Direct asking me if they can price check any items for me and find me any good prices on my last minute shopping!
I was really surprised as I only ever placed one small order earlier this year and never bothered to buy anything again. They phoned me at home and it took ages for them to actually say anything, I actually thought it was a 'funny' call at first.
Has anyone else had this call?

i have shopped from a few catalogue companys because of the bargains on this site and even if you order just once they consider you a customer and ive had them ring me from loads of them .. .. from now on i wont put my home number on any orders they can ring me on my mobile that way i can cut if off because of a bad line lolThose we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,

You should get one of those 0870 numbers that pay you some cash and give that out on the forms - you can sit there all day talking to them

You are best seraching with google.(Just type premium rate numbers)
The 0870 are National Rate numbers and IMHO are not profit generating (to you). To profit you would require a Premium Rate number and typically start with 09....0 -
certainly something i might look into... start giving it out to any marketing companies and stuff on forms and connect an answer machine to it lol
