Well, I go through each month seriously intending to spend no money whatsoever and feel extremely guilty every time I do. I keep receipts for everything - even down to the last few pence, so I can account for each penny. I'm on here 24/7 reading all the posts from you lovely lot. It's even started infiltrating my dreams... can I have a number please?

Thought I'd also mention that I resisted the temptation (and hunger pangs) of the restaurant at the hospital as I didn't want to "spoil" my spending diary too much - I already knew I would have to spend on the car park so I waited until I got home (almost 4 p.m.) to have "lunch".

And even better I have checked my Medicash information and I can claim £60 for DH's one day in hospital which more than covers the petrol and car parking fees which as I have covered these out of my normal weekly spends I will be able to put the Medicash cheque towards one of my cc bills
