Marks and Spencers Penny Bazar

Got an email from M&S about a Penny Bazar starting in their stores today...anyone else hear of this or think it wil be any good?

It's not worth making a special trip for in my opinion. I went to the one in the centre of Belfast this morning. Got there about 8.20 and the queue at that time was past WH Smiths. It doesn't open until 9am. They gave out a leaflet with the items on it. They are an aniversary mug, teatowel, beach ball, a tie, packet of rosy apple sweets, leather passport holder, leather luggage tag, black socks, drink, frisbee, cufflinks, jewellery, small purse, knickers, scarf. You're allowed 5 items per person. There was nothing there I particularly wanted, or at least would justify me being late for work, so at that point I left.

Au contraire! I went this morning and got a cream leather purse, black leather passport holder, black leather luggage tag, white spotted silk scarf and a nice necklace all for 1p each! :beer: There was some tat as well, these were probably the best five items but it was well worth queuing. I wasn't even that close to the front of the queue (I arrived at 8:40am), there were probably well over 100 people in front of me but they had a decent number of each item.

It's on tomorrow and Friday as well. HTH.
