Hi has anyone taken out a loan with ocean finance, just want to check what they are like before i apply
thanks
Ocean Finance a predominantly brokers.
They will have a panel of lenders who they will place you with.
Usually most have the same lenders on their panel but Ocean seem to be ok.I am a former Broker, former IFA and former compliance officer, for my sins.
However, I have since seen the light.0 -
Make sure you know exactly how much commission you are going to pay, and how much their fees will be, read everything carefully before signing, because afterwards it can be such a hassle to sort things out if you are not happy with something.
Once again make sure you know exactly how much money Ocean Finance will get, they will get a fee from the lender for arranging a loan and they will also get a secret commission on top from the lender, this you will have no knowledge of, and they will add this to your loan. So be aware of them, they are not at all what they seem.

they are not ok as they get paid more than they tell people, and this makes it a conflict of interest and I believe they do not act in the best interest of the borrower. I have had dealings with them before, and will never be going through them again0
