if you have had a loan from halifax or HSBC?

I have just had a telephone call from a company - well the other half taken it.

not sure what company it was --- but they claimed to know that any loans taken out in past 3 years with Halifax or HSBC you can claim for something?
he wanted our reference number of our loan - but we didnt have it to hand, so we never gave it.

has anyone any advice on this? beofre they ring back??

Well done for not giving details out. I'nm sure it would have been a debt write off or ppi miselling cold call. Don't give them your time. They cannot do anything more for you than you could do for yourself for free.

I didn't think they were supposed to cold-call for claims.

there is a similar advert on the tv about loans that were taken but something that was missing out the agreement - ooohh i dont no, but i wont give anything out over the phone like that thanks!

we rang the halifax n asked them, but they were sure there isnt anything that can be done to improve the loan or missing from the agreement, i kinda didnt understand anything of it but when hearing that advert on the tv it sounded more real or possilbe to make some sort of claim.

but im leaving it well alone
