Is anyone else confused by what to buy? I took your advice and had a look on multitrip.com and the insurance seems good and is a good price. However, they offer both cancellation and curtailment (which I assume is if you need to cancel or return home early) AND flight cancellation (which seems to be if something happens after you check-in).
Why do you need both? Surely if your flight is cancelled and you can't go on your holiday, you can claim under "cancellation and curtailment"????
Very confusing.........

Flight can be cancelled but you can then go on a later flight e.g 1 hour later. Might not be a need to cancel your holiday.0

I, too, found Multitrip.com's prices to be good and the level of cover appropriate to my needs. However, on completing the online form, I found that a £3.50 'admin and handling fee' was added, which is preposterous as I am the one doing the admin and handling!!!
Will keep searching (the comparison websites don't seem to, well, be so useful for comparison any more). Can't book the holiday I want unless I have insurance and don't want to accept their expensive package!0 -
