Dancing On Ice fans can vote for nowt this weekend simply by registering for the freebie and dialling a special 0800 freephone number from their landline.

There's a limit of five votes per household but you must register online before 6pm this Sunday, 21 February.

TalkTalk's set up this promotion, with the go ahead from ITV, for anyone to take advantage of, not just its own customers.

Follow the simple steps:

• Step one: Go to TalkTalk's special page and select if you're a customer of its or not.
  
  If you're NOT one of its landline customers: You'll then need to enter your home landline phone number, name, postcode and email address, and select who your telephone provider is. Landline numbers can only be registered onces and mobile numbers can't be used.
  
  Ensure you do this before 6pm on Sunday 21 February. And remember NOT to tick the marketing box if you don't want to be contacted for research purposes.
  
  If you ARE one of its landline customers: Jump straight to step three.

• Step two: Check that you've received an email confirming you've signed your landline up to use the service. You should get it within 40 minutes.
  
  If you have any problems check your junk mail box, try registering again or call TalkTalk's Dancing On Ice free votes helpline on 0870 087 3537.

• Step three: Once voting opens on Sunday night, pick which contestant(s) you want to vote for and dial 0800 3800 9XX replacing the XXs with the corresponding last two digits of the celebrity contestant's premium rate that'll be advertised in the programme (it'll be a number between 01 and 09).
  
  You can do this up to five times and it must be via the landline number you registered or a TalkTalk landine.

TalkTalk customers can do this every week until the semi-finals. See the offer's terms and conditions.

ITV has approved this promotion, and its terms and conditions state:

"ITV is not responsible for the free votes promotion which is run by TalkTalk but the free voting numbers provided by TalkTalk have been acknowledged by ITV so the votes received by ITV from the TalkTalk Free Votes promotion will count towards the result of the Dancing on Ice vote subject to the ITV Dancing on Ice vote terms and conditions."
