    The strange/sad thing about this is that I actually think it would work.

    DD keeps texting me and she actually wants this to happen.
    she wasn't a tiny bit excited about the original plans.
    and we are both sober.

    she wants to have an intimate ceremony, in a place of importance to you and significance to her, with friends, family (and randoms her mum knows).... sounds perfect!
    I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....
