Tuesday 19th May - What small DFW things have you done today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free;)
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Good morning all! Hello to regulars, newbies and returnees!!
Not raining here, but still windy & chilly...brrr. Helloooooooooo to Sophiesmum in sunny Malta!!

Have a great day everyone xxxxxxxx

Milly, you have just beaten me to second place!
No rain yet, so hope for the best!
Today I have / will:
Check online banking (done)
See to animals and plants (only fed noisy demanding cat so far - still in dressing gown). Must get dressed in a minute to go down the garden to do the chickens - pink dressing gown and green wellies not a good look
Breakfast / supper from stores but not usual packed lunch today because of lunchtime meeting for work (have to buy own lunch  Won't spend much, but ruins what would have been a NSD)
Leave out a product to be collected by courier to return to market research company - they will apparently leave me a £6 Boots voucher in return
Walk dogs after work for free exercise, hopefully not in the pouring rain
Not a very impressive list I'm afraid - but have to work all day as well
Have a nice day everyone :hello:0 -
Morning all. Pay day today :j
I have/will:- Checked internet banking - done! Lovely pennies going out to savings as I type.
- Check for surveys - none yet but will do them throughout the day.
- Breakfast at home, storecupboard dinner, something that isn't takeaway for tea.
- Pay in coins at bank.
- Go to other bank and show my ID for cashback CC.
- Go to college... keep tram ticket safe to claim back on expenses.
- Don't drink too much coffee at college.
- Water from cooler at work instead of bottled. Tea and coffee from the stash.
- Charge phone and laptop at work.
- Allow myself three chunks of Dairy Milk (30 calories in each chunk! No wonder I've lost half a stone by cutting it out!)
- Keep an eye on new seedlings.
- Sparkle and that!
