    The barcode is 5010251327301

Im guessing that they have put a barcode like this on the coupon to try and make it more difficult for tescos to accept them as the barcode reads like an item barcode, so presumably Morrisons can "invent" an item on their till system for this coupon and program it to be priced at -£5?

Thats what Im guessing as someone reported yesterday that in Tesco it just came up with "Item not on file"

Obviously Tesco can just put it through as a non scan coupon but it adds extra hassle for SAs and couponers.

    Hey all!!

I used 5 of the £5.00 Sun vouchers in Tescos, Invernesss (retail park one), in separate transactions of £30.00 ish each yesterday. They don't scan, but DO go through as non scan coupon.Had to argue slightly with supervisor "yes I really do know it says Morrison's on the coupon -(for the 3rd time)-I'm not thick you know" - and get it authorised from "upstairs". I mentioned in passing that they took them last year and should check an email from their head office sent last Thursday , (as I read that on MSE somewhere) and when supervisor returned to checkout I got authorisation, humble looks and no probs!!

Also got DTD on 6 x toothpaste on overcharge of 49p but they removed price label from shelf straight away so no good to others I'm afraid ( was Tesco's sensitive enamel protection in case it's in other stores).

My nearest Tesco and Morrisons are 100 miles from home - I live on Skye - so I was in for the long haul and stocking up, so didn't mind the slight palava at all.

Am now looking forward to my Stella @£1.30 / litre...mmmmmmmmm!!
