Giving prizes away...

After just writing my last post 'On a winning streak!!' I was just wondering if any MSE's have given away their prizes before to people who appreciated it more than they themselves would have done.

It'd be nice to hear stories of how MSE has helped out other people and the great feeling of helping someone out and doing something nice for someone else, especially people you don't know...

I have given many away,Tfriends and family but neices and nephews get the most.
Also have given some to schools for there raffles etc.
Makes you feel good,Just as good as winning in my opinion.

My mum once won a whole kitchen full of appliances and gave away most of it, dish washer, tumble dryer, iron etc. I think we only kept the fridge and washer, there were loads of prizes! The neighbours were very happy as most were struggling. She won it all at the bingo hall by the way.

That's great. It's nice to be able to be generous and make a difference to someone, however small.
