Childrens entertainer in Essex

Hi

Does anyone know of a reasonably priced entertainer/magician for a 4 year olds birthday party in Essex? I live in Southminster and have had a few quotes from people all of which are around £140 which I cannot afford. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance. :o

I used to work for a children's party entertainer. I'm afraid the quotes you've got are pretty typical. The cost will be affected by how long you want them for and how many kids at the party. If the guest list is not decided yet you might be able to save money by cutting that down a bit. I'd recommend you see if you can get someone to do you a short set and you take care of the rest of the party yourself with pin-the-tail-on-the-doney, pass-the-parcel and musical statues etc.

get a copy of the Kidaround or School Times magazines - theyre free, and usually has a section where party entertainers advertise

but ive found that most charge a min of £100, so what youve been priced seems about average
