I've not been entering comps for very long, a whole 2 weeks in fact:p I wanted to ask if when you enter a comp do you enter anything and everything or just the comps you really want the item??
Also what does WEM mean? Sorry for all the questions but I'm really getting addicted.
Many thanks

Hi,
I dont see the point in entering for anything & everything to be honest as you're more likely to win things you dont actually want or need which is a bit if a waste esp when other people could make good use of it..
I only enter comps for things I want/need or can give as gifts on bdays & xmas... I don't enter ticket comps as quite often they let you know on the day or give very short notice, I also dont enter many holiday comps as they're more than often not suited for a family. I have had quite a few wins even though I miss out the comps which are of no interest to me.
WEM means 'winning email'
Laura
PS: its easy to get addicted, I am a self confessed addict but love it
Thanks to everyone that posts :T:money:

I'm another that only enters if I or my family actually want the prize!
The only exception to this is entering phone comps like crazy, as Polo_Bint is in need of a new one & she's a top bird who's done me some favours, so what goes around, comes around!
I mainly enter for our kids or things we need/want - I don't enter if I don't need/want it - it cuts the chances for people who actually do!!!
Good luck - it's addictive, isn't it?! I enter loads & probably have a 20% success rate.

Hiya, it drove me mad for the first few weekes trying to work out what all the abbreviations in posts were!
WEM = winning email
LEM = losing email
WTM = winning text message
LTM = losing text message
WTC = winning telephone call
LWE = long white envelope (most often from magazine puzzle comps and containing a cheque - not that I've been lucky enough to get one yet!)
I only enter for things that I really want or things that I know I can give as birthday/Christmas presents. I did sell a phone that I won as part of a prize package - but that was an emergency electricity bill that needed paying

Thanks for all the information, I have have just been entering comps that I really want or I can wrap up for xmas if I was lucky enough to be a winner. I really really want a nikon camera so I will have my eye's peeled for one that comes up ;-)
I've only been entering my mobile number, does everyone do the same or do you put your home numbers?0 -
Hi Ella
I only enter for things I need or want - I dont enter for Books or CDS etc. Try like mad for a cash win or a holiday in the sun - but no luck yet :mad:
It is very addictive - every morning when I wake up I think to myself "I wonder if this will be the day ITV call" think I am going mad :eek:
Good Luck0 -

I only ever put my mobile number as my house phone can be a bit dicey. I started comping last August and my first win was in October and I have had a steady flow of wins since.
Good luck:D:)ITV Winners Club Member #46:)
