hiya all
i just recieved a letter from abbey offering me a new deal for my existing morgage.
i am currently paying 6.29% fixed till october, owe £104k on a house worth £170k.
i am only intrestred in fixed rates & have been offered the following:-
3 years fixed @ 4.49%
5 years fixed @ 4.99%
7 years fixed @ 5.39%
all rates are £125 set up fee & no early repayment fees for the 5 months left on my fixed margage. i am allowed to pay 10% each year (which i will take advantage of)
is this a good deal or should i bite the bullet & go looking at other lenders?
thx
terry

In my opnion the 5 year deal is very ggod, and will save you a reasonable amount of wonger over the next 5 months.0

You have a 62% LTV, so you can shop around for any deals around this percentage.
Good value? £125 fee is cheapish. But I know you can do better than this.
Can't recommend anything here and that is why you may have noticed the clever wording from unite79, " MY OPINION "Motto: 'If you don't ask, you don't get!!'
