Selling an endowment?

Hi everyone,

we'll shortly be selling our house and wish to cash-in the endowment policy that was taken out when we got the mortgage (about 17 years ago).

Two questions -

1. Would we get a better return if we went to one of the companies that buy your endowment off you, rather than 'redeeming' it directly (Norwich Union)?

2. If so, can anyone recommend a reputable company to go to?

Thanks!
:)

This is handy for me also but I'm confused as to what to enter in the Surrender Date and Value sections.

I've not told Royal London that I want to sell so can anyone help?
