Im new to the forum.... :hello:

I see that theres alot of great minds here and decided I should ask around if anyone has any good ideas for a business name?

i am setting up a wedding event planning business and am struggling :wall: to think of a original / imaginative name that people would remember....:eek:

I really wish I could help as I have always wanted to do Wedding Planning myself. Used to do event organising abroad and hoped to branch out into wedding organising after I planned my own one. Loved every minute.

When I did a short 'start your own business' course, I was advised to pick something appropriate and memorable. If you think if wedding planning your mind is drawn to dreamy, creative images and soft but beautiful sounding words. I would try and think along those lines to create something special. You want something that stands out and is memorable.

Okay, how about the bwlow (or a play on them)?

• The Perfect Wedding
• Holy Matrimony! (with the exclamation mark, like someone shouting it)
• Unite Wedding Planning
• Devotedly Weddings (people devoted to each other)
• Diamond Weddings (Diamond being the 60th anniversary - gives positivity that it'll last a long time)

Okay, so why scarlett weddings? My perfect wedding, although it is already taken, I think is a bit bland. My Big Day is the same. Wicked Weddings has more oomph and is certainly catchy. Words I go for are breathless, whispers, escape, kismet, dreamy, enchanting. Words like J'taime have a romantic sound anyway and I think these sorts of words would draw my attention.

All of these words conjure up wonderful images.

does it matter if someone else has the same name unless you are using it as a ltd company name??

as long as you aren't in the same area i wouldn't think it makes any difference.
