Do you think he could cope with the added stress of being an officer? Many people with A.S. are massively stressed anyway but some can cope just fine. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

I imagine some of the AS traits would be highly useful in some lines of police work.0

i know this will sound silly but he is only 12 but he will be starting year 9 in september he is one of the youngest in his year and this is when he has to start focusing on what he wants to do. We have to start earlier because of his A.S. he has been wanting to join the police since he was 7 . with A.S. kids they like authority and rules. he does have very rigid thinking but he is a kind soul and is most happiest when helping some one big or small and i really do hope he can achieve it.we will most definately help him all the way ...
Thanks to everyone who has kindly taken the time to read this.0 -
it might be worth making some enquiries now to find out what the possibilities are - does he do cadets or anything like that? good luck with your searchThe mind is like a parachute. It doesn’t work unless it’s open.:o
